Position Duties: Apply your welding expertise to ensure the structural integrity of storage tanks utilizing various techniques such as stick and flux core welding. Read and interpret blueprints to guarantee your welding tasks comply with all specifications. Conduct quality control inspections on your work and proactively resolve any issues that arise. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Maintain a safe work environment by strictly adhering to all safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on your welding equipment to keep it in optimal condition. Requirements: Minimum of one year of welding experience, preferably within the storage tank sector. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for detecting potential defects. Willingness to lift heavy equipment and undertake physically demanding tasks. Strong communication skills paired with a collaborative mindset. A love for travel and the adaptability to work in various locations. A TWIC card may be necessary. Willingness to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing. Background checks are part of the hiring process. Must be over 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States. Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Join our dedicated team and enjoy a competitive starting pay of $30-$34 per hour, which may vary based on experience and welding test results. Additionally, we provide a subsistence allowance of $125 (certain exceptions may apply based on location) and reimbursement of $0.725 per mile for travel (when applicable).
