Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team at The Ridge Recovery Center, a new state-of-the-art facility in Windham, CT. You will play an essential role in providing direct nursing care to individuals managing substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing client conditions and administering medications. Managing withdrawal symptoms and providing education on health and wellness. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills to foster a therapeutic environment and motivate clients to achieve their treatment goals. Qualifications Valid CT RN license. Minimum of an Associate's degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred. CPR & AED certification within six months of employment. Preferably accredited certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing (or actively pursuing credentialing). At least one year of nursing experience in Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred. Experience as a CNA, Mental Health Worker, or similar role is beneficial for new nursing graduates.
