The annual salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $170,000, depending on experience and office location. Actual compensation will be determined based on contractual agreements. We adhere to all state and local wage laws, ensuring that minimum pay meets or exceeds applicable standards. You will have the chance to practice both general and medical optometry, ensuring a consistent patient base while prioritizing quality care. Education and Experience Requirements for the Optometrist (OD) Position: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution is required. Active and in good standing license to practice Optometry in your state is required prior to starting employment. National Provider Identification (NPI) is required. TPA License is necessary. Experience in a retail, educational, or medical office setting is a plus; all candidates are welcome to apply. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to utilize essential equipment, and mobility within the office. As an Optometrist (OD), you will evaluate patients' vision and healthcare needs using established practices. You will document findings in patient records and consult with patients about their ongoing vision care requirements. Collaboration with the office team is vital to ensure personalized and memorable patient experiences, providing compassionate care at every visit.
