Responsibilities Learn essential prospecting and networking skills to cultivate your business and client base Develop and implement a strategic business plan Connect with potential clients to understand their financial goals through meetings Prepare tailored financial plans and provide insightful recommendations Gain experience with proprietary financial planning software Participate in weekly coaching and training sessions for professional development Achieve Risk Product State Licensing in Life, Accident, and Health Develop essential life skills for future career advancement As an intern at Northwestern Mutual, you will enjoy a flexible schedule that accommodates your education and lifestyle. Our year-round internship allows you to continue growing your practice and receive support for various registrations and certifications, including Series 6 & 63 or CFP®. Outstanding candidates may have the opportunity to interview for full-time Financial Representative or Advisor roles upon graduation.
