As a Garment Alterations Specialist, you play a vital role in enhancing our reputation as a leading department store. You will be responsible for altering a wide range of women's garments, from elegant formal dresses embellished with beads to tailored clothing. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Deliver an exceptional customer experience by greeting everyone warmly, being approachable, and expressing gratitude to every customer. Accurately measure, fit, mark, and pin garments following customer specifications. Expertly disassemble, sew, and/or reassemble garments according to the measurements taken during fittings. Use an iron and steamer to prepare garments, ensuring they look their best for our customers. Repair damaged or defective merchandise, showcasing your skills and attention to detail. Engage in a variety of garment work that may range from basic to moderately complex sewing and alteration procedures.
