OTR Class A CDL Truck Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OTR Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This position requires a professional driver capable of handling the challenges of long-distance freight transport while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities: Drive long distances across the United States and potentially Canada. Home every other weekend, unless previous arrangements are made. Adhere to all traffic laws while maintaining communication with dispatchers for efficient cargo delivery. Secure cargo appropriately and ensure its balance during transportation. Keep a detailed log of driving hours in compliance with federal and state regulations. Perform daily maintenance on the truck, including refueling and cleaning. Resolve mechanical issues before starting each trip to ensure safety. Plan routes to meet delivery schedules efficiently. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain vehicle integrity. Interact with customers in a professional manner. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must possess a valid Class A CDL. Ability to plan trips effectively. Strong independent working capabilities. Effective communication skills with dispatch personnel. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Knowledge of FMCSA regulations. A minimum of 1 year of driving experience. Physical Requirements: Job demands include sitting for extended periods and bending. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must maintain a valid/current Federal Medical card. Extra Duties: Occasionally, training will be provided via Tenstreet to keep drivers informed on industry updates and ensure ongoing professional development.
