Sports Health Specialist

As a Sports Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Athletic Trainer in delivering exceptional athletic training services and sports medicine. Your responsibilities will include: Implementing and overseeing effective prevention, assessment, management, treatment, rehabilitation, and counseling for athletic injuries and conditions impacting athletes and clients. Managing clinical and administrative tasks for specific teams, as designated by the Head Athletic Trainer. Maintaining inventory by tracking supplies, placing orders, and confirming receipt of orders to ensure preparedness. Ensuring equipment functionality through proper usage, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs when necessary. Upholding Professional Certification as outlined by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.
