What You Will Do Join our dedicated maintenance team focused on ensuring that all equipment at our Regional Distribution Center (RDC) remains fully operational. As a Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic, you will leverage your expertise in one of the following specialized areas: conveyors, rolling stock, or building maintenance. In addition, you will possess general knowledge and basic repair skills in the other two areas outside your specialty. In this role, you will utilize your electrical and mechanical understanding to independently diagnose equipment issues, determine the necessary repairs, prioritize tasks, and execute solutions efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to mentor a Maintenance Utility team member while drawing on the expertise of Maintenance Mechanic II staff or the Maintenance Supervisor when needed. What We're Looking For Be prepared to work a set schedule that may be adjusted by management according to facility needs. Availability for morning, afternoon, night shifts, or weekends as required. Readiness to provide on-call support as necessary. Comfortable working in a distribution/warehouse setting with typical physical and environmental conditions. Ability to use a variety of tools and complete detailed maintenance tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Willingness to work safely with corrosive materials and at heights exceeding 20 feet. Capability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. What You Need To Succeed Minimum Qualifications: Valid state driver's license. At least 2 years of experience in your specialty area. Comprehensive experience and/or technical training in electrical/electronic theory for systems up to 600 volts (or willingness to obtain necessary training within the first year of employment). Certification to perform Maintenance Mechanic level work if required by local regulations. A proven track record of adhering to safety protocols. Able to distinguish colors and see objects clearly. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or technical school graduate. Experience or certification in welding and fabrication. Certification for electrical work and/or high voltage projects. Experience operating various maintenance and operations vehicles and equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
