Learn more at Job Description KPFF's Lacey, Washington office is seeking a Civil Project Manager with experience in site development and municipal infrastructure projects. This role leads the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects for public agencies and private developers across the region. As part of our collaborative design team, you will manage project schedules and budgets, coordinate with clients and consultants, and guide engineers and designers through project execution. Commercial Site Development Parks and Recreation Facilities Multi-family / Residential Development Water Systems Sewer Lift Stations Roadway Infrastructure Municipal Institutions As a Civil Project Manager at KPFF, you will lead civil engineering projects from initial planning through design and construction. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, guide internal design teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations. Key responsibilities include: Manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders. Lead project scope development, scheduling, and budgeting. Oversee technical design and ensure quality of project deliverables. Supervise and mentor design engineers and drafters. Coordinate with municipalities, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Monitor project budgets and schedules to meet contract commitments. Support permitting and entitlement processes with local jurisdictions. Provide construction administration support, including RFIs and submittals. Participate in project meetings and occasional site visits. Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or attending meetings. Occasionally, it may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs. Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Knowledge of Washington State design standards, permitting processes, and municipal codes. Experience managing multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Additional InformationCompensation The base salary for this role is competitive, with a range of $100,000 - $140,000 determined by experience, education, and skills. KPFF also offers performance-based bonuses to recognize outstanding contributions. Additional details about the full compensation package will be provided during the interview process.
