A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with a strong background in cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic support. Position Details Contract role with April start dates only Accepting local candidates with a modest rate adjustment Schedule options: 36 or 40 hours per week; 9, 10, or 12-hour shifts with varied start/end times between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM On-call rotation: approximately 14 days over 6 weeks, including 2 weekends Possible floating to nearby locations may be required Responsibilities Assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, including preparation of equipment and patients Monitor and record diagnostic data during catheterization and endovascular procedures Maintain a safe and sterile laboratory environment Assess and monitor patient condition using analytical skills to make rapid, accurate decisions Administer medications and calculate dosages as needed Operate and maintain complex electrical equipment and recording devices Manage supplies and support accurate billing procedures Provide compassionate care to patients across adolescent to geriatric populations, addressing patient concerns and fears Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical personnel, and families Qualifications and Experience Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required ARRT certification required; RCIS or completion of accredited electrophysiology program preferred BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Familiarity with Phillips and McKesson technology/EMR preferred Ability to recognize normal and abnormal ECG patterns Ability to work flexible schedules including on-call rotations Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain specialized equipment Vocational or technical degree required; bachelor's degree preferred This opportunity provides a meaningful way to utilize your specialized skills in cardiac care within a supportive and fast-paced clinical setting.
