Trailer Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform general inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of 600 refrigerated trailers Perform work on ThermoKing diesel engines, brake systems, electrical systems and other trailer components Review repair work orders and discuss work with supervisors Communicate with managers or drivers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems Work in a safe and professional manner Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas QUALIFICATIONS: Must have own tools At least 1 year trailer mechanic experience required High school diploma or GED required, technical education highly desired.
