Optical Production Technician - Multiple Shifts AvailableAdecco is partnering with a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses to hire Optical Production Technician in Orangeburg, NY.This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing with a well-known company that operates in over 150 countries.LocationOrangeburg, NYPayStarting at $17.50/hourShift differentials availableShifts Available 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate!Job Responsibilities Operate machinery and tools used in lens production and finishing Handle lenses and frames with precision and care Perform quality checks to ensure products meet optical standards Maintain accurate documentation and production records Support multiple production areas such as: Lens inspection Blocking and polishing Tinting and edging Assembly and machine operation Collaborating with team members to maintain efficient workflow Learn new tasks and rotate through departments as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks Willingness to cross-train in multiple production areas Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment No prior production experience required - training is provided Experience in manufacturing, production, or lab environments is a plus.
