School SLP/Speech Language Pathologist

About the Job AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 25/26 school year. Salary:Up to $2,250 per week. Requirements:Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or valid ASHA certification (CCC-SLP). Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Teacher Consultant Endorsement. AI (Autism Impairment) and EMI (Emotional Impairment) endorsements preferred. Experience working with school-age children preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Job Description:Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Contract through the school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar. Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills. Essential Functions:Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success. Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports. Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems. Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
