Job Summary Reporting to the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role also supports equipment upgrades and facility-related projects to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.ResponsibilitiesConduct daily preventive maintenance and routine inspections on all equipment, making necessary mechanical adjustmentsDisassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment to ensure optimal mechanical performanceMonitor and maintain preventive maintenance inventory and suppliesDiagnose mechanical issues by observing and listening to equipment during operationRepair or replace defective components using hand and power toolsComplete, document, and track work orders and assigned project tasksRead, interpret, and follow equipment manuals and technical documentationPerform all work in compliance with FDA, OSHA, SQF, NJDOH, and other regulatory requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policiesProperly use required safety equipment and personal protective gear at all timesQualificationsPrevious experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including equipment repair and preventive maintenanceWorking knowledge of compliance standards including FDA, OSHA, SQF, and NJDOHBilingual Spanish/English skills preferred
