Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Cincinnati, OH Agency: AMN Healthcare Pay: $1,759 to $1,868 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 3/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with AMN Healthcare to find a qualified PCU RN in CINCINNATI, Ohio, 45219!Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse - Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN) StartDate: 3/24/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1759.00 - $1868.00 Unit Description: 3S Comp-Med Stepdown: -The Medical-Surgical Stepdown/3 South unit is a 29-bed medical stepdown unit specializing in the care of patients diagnosed with acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, CHF and other low risk cardiac/chest pain diagnoses. -The unit offers general medical services to all types of patients requiring cardiac monitoring including cardiology, renal, endocrinology, general medicine, pulmonology, gastroenterology, and oncology. -Staff on this unit undergo special training and education regarding non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (Bi-PAP, C-PAP, and A-PAP). -They also provide infusion therapy, transfusions, injections, and central line care. -Patient care assistants on this unit provide support with ADLs, POC glucose testing, and 12 Lead EKGs. -3 South is a dedicated stroke unit and all RNs are NIH stroke scale certified.
