Job Details - Travel Nursing / Massachusetts RN Jobs Location: Hyannis, MA (02601) - Cape Cod nursing job Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN), Travel Contract Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 - July 11, 2026) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (11:00am - 11:30pm); days/evenings with rotating nights and holidays Unit: Float Pool (may float between Cape Cod Hospital & Falmouth Hospital as needed) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2360-$2480/week Required Qualifications - Telemetry RN / Registered Nurse Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility within the last 2 years (Telemetry experience required) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must pass CCHC Pharmacology Exam and Basic Arrhythmia Exam prior to start date Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), ACLS certification, experience managing cardiac patients, specialty certifications relevant to unit assignments Responsibilities - Med/Surg Telemetry Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Provide telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms; administer and monitor medication therapy and patient responses Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel in the float pool setting Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) and complete thorough patient assessments (physical, psychological, social) Demonstrate charge nurse proficiency and competency with computerized nursing informatics Serve as a clinical resource for patient care, orientation, and staff education Participate in quality monitoring, performance improvement initiatives, and adherence to safety and infection control policies Maintain professional development, participate in nursing committees, and represent the hospital positively in the community Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Why Apply - Travel Nurse Benefits & Location Travel nursing position ideal for RNs seeking short-term contracts and variety in clinical experience Work in a coastal community on Cape Cod - proximity to beaches, dining, and historic downtown Hyannis Competitive compensation and travel nurse benefits (varies by assignment) Estimated weekly pay: $2360-$2480/week This Med/Surg Tele RN travel nursing job targets experienced telemetry registered nurses looking for Massachusetts RN jobs and Cape Cod nursing opportunities.
