Job Responsibilities Create Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapy strategies that guide them toward their functional aspirations. Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Work in conjunction with OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to promote progress beyond the therapy environment. Track and Review Progress: Monitor patient advancements and adapt treatment plans accordingly, ensuring they remain on the path to success. Required Education Degree in Occupational Therapy from a reputable institution. Encouragement and support for continuing education and advanced certifications. Licenses & Certifications Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Texas. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
