Fleet headquarters is in Denver, Colorado, with satellite offices in Seattle, WA and Arlington, VA.Fleet Data Centers is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Global Forecasting and Data Management (GFD) to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of electrical equipment for our data center development projects. This role is responsible for managing the planning/forecasting, data management, and process control of industrial equipment.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in industrial equipment procurement and deep knowledge of the unique requirements of mission-critical infrastructure such as data centers.How will you make a difference?Develop and implement comprehensive planning/forecasting strategies aligned with organizational objectivesLead end-to-end planning managementBuild industry best practices and systems to meet business needsManage master data processesAssess and mitigate supply chain risks through strategic planningOversee category lifecycle management and transition strategiesMonitor and report on key performance metrics including cost savings, procurement cycle times, and market conditionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field - or equivalent proven work experience7+ years of experience in procurement, planning or supply chain management3+ years focused on data center mission critical infrastructureRequired Skills and ExperienceDeep understanding of data center systems and associated vendors (OEMs and integrators)Experience working in fast-paced, large-scale infrastructure or data center projectsStrong knowledge of supply chain management tools, data analytics, and BI toolsExcellent project management, contract management, change management and communication skillsKnowledge of sustainability and social responsibility in supply chainPreferred Skills and ExperienceMBA, MS in Supply Chain or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative disciplinesCertifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Black BeltProven track record in implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellenceRequired TraitsIntegrity and Ethical Standards: Build trust, ensure fairness, and foster long-term, transparent relationships with suppliers.Effective Communication: The ability to clearly convey expectations and requirements to suppliers and negotiation parties, while understanding their needs and concerns.
