Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Behavioral Health & Addiction Medicine Full-Time | Permanent Placement Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 A leading behavioral health provider is seeking a licensed and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to adults experiencing addiction and mental health challenges in an outpatient clinical setting. Why You'll Love This Role 4 weeks of vacation in your first year No weekly call requirement Only 1 holiday shift per year Collaborative provider network Medical scribe support provided Reimbursement for professional expenses (licensing, etc.) X-waiver required (assistance available if not yet obtained) Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical exams on new admissions and follow-up evaluations as needed Collaborate with psychiatric providers and behavioral health teams to coordinate care plans and medications Document all findings, treatments, and progress using the electronic medical record (EMR) system Ensure adherence to all internal policies, state and federal laws, and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission) Provide safe, independent clinical care under the consultation of a collaborating physician Evaluate patient needs, prescribe medications, and support primary care needs Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program Active licensure to practice in the state (must be unrestricted) DEA license and CSR (or willingness to obtain) BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred (behavioral health experience ideal) - willing to train new grads Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer literacy Commitment to ethical practice, teamwork, and patient-centered care Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards Employment Type: Full-time, permanent In-person position Benefits: Competitive salary: $105K-$115K depending on experience 401(k) with employer matching Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Flexible schedule Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is committed to diversity and inclusion and provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals.
