Pathologist Assistant (PA) - Must be ASCP certified Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and grossing of surgical specimens. Collaborate with one full-time pathologist and one part-time pathologist. Manage an annualcase volume of 15,000, with a growth rate of 9% per year. Handle a daily workload of approximately 60-90 cases. Specialized Techniques & Instruments: Histology using Leica equipment. Secura Tissue Processors. Faxitron device for breast tissue imaging. Cryostats for preparing frozen sections. Requirements: ASCP (PA) certification is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
