Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Puyallup, WA, supporting K-12 students with diverse speech and language needs. This onsite role requires providing direct services within a school setting, working closely with students, families, and educational teams to facilitate communication development and support academic success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech therapy goals into the educational environment. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Adhere to all licensing and safety requirements, including fingerprinting and maintaining valid professional credentials. Qualifications: Valid Washington State SLP License or willingness to obtain licensure. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred. Completion of fingerprinting through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) or willingness to complete the process. Experience working with school-aged children in a school-based setting. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively. Location: This position is strictly onsite and based in Puyallup, WA. The role offers a stable contract commitment through June 2026, providing an impactful opportunity to support student development within a dynamic educational environment.
