Carnegie Robotics designs and manufactures advanced robotics systems and components for defense, agricultural, mining, industrial, and off-road autonomy applications. Job Summary Carnegie Robotics is seeking a Quality Technician to support our comprehensive, enterprise-wide Quality Management System. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing Performing sample inspections and measurements of incoming parts Processing non-confirming materials for testing or disposition Performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers Completing internal audits and associated documentation Interpreting engineering prints and schematics Supporting safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD, and ISO Assisting in the Material Review Board process Maintaining information systems Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on quality discrepancies and Carnegie Robotics quality goals What You'll Have A four year technical degree (preferred) or a two year technical degree (required) Experience with precisions instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Comfort in a fast-changing, cross-functional team environment High standards of accuracy, rigor, and timeliness Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to lift more than 40 pounds Carnegie Robotics is an Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes applications from all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable laws and Carnegie Robotics' employment policies.
