Jr. Cost Manager We are seeking a Jr. Cost Manager to join our team as a contingent worker to provide cost management services. The ideal candidate will bring industry-standard experience with a background in finance, business, or previous experience in the semiconductor industry. Under supervision, you will develop proficiency in delivering cost management services by supporting invoice validation, cost forecasting and reporting, change management, and close-out administration. Responsibilities Support the preparation and issuance of periodic cost reports. Input purchase orders, orders, and invoices into the cost report where applicable. Assist in the preparation of a cash flow with the cost report and issue it to the client's finance/construction team. Prepare and monitor a change order log routinely. Review change orders in accordance with the client's approval process. Monitor and review all project invoices, code them where applicable, and forward to the client's accounts payable department. Support procurement of construction and engineering services, including preparing RFPs and bid analysis. Oversee contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages where applicable. Organize and attend bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement and change order status. Review contractor closeout documents. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects. Proficient in using MS-Office applications. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to troubleshoot and work independently as well as within a team. Clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Good communication skills. Understanding and utilizing Information Technology, including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent (e.g., cost engineer, quantity surveyor). Two to five years of experience in project controls, financial control, or quantity surveying. Experience in engineering, cost engineering, quantity surveying, and project coordination. Familiarity with construction management, architecture, and project management. Detail-oriented and analytical. Experience with construction documents, Revit, AutoCAD, and architectural design. Work Environment As a Jr. Cost Manager, you will work within a large company known for its excellent benefits and bonus structure. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
