Overview Dental Care Professional At Periodontology, Inc, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Care Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver top-notch preventive dental care, educate patients about oral hygiene, and collaborate with your dental team to ensure an outstanding patient experience. Your clinical expertise and commitment to patient care will help foster long-term oral health in our community. Schedule: Full Time, 4 days/week 7:00am - 4:30pm Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings including scaling, polishing, and root planing as required Capture and process dental radiographs (X-rays) Complete oral health assessments and document conditions of teeth and gums Guide patients on effective oral hygiene practices and preventive care Apply sealants and fluoride treatments when necessary Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized per infection control standards Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed Accurately document patient care and treatment plans in the dental record Monitor and manage hygiene supplies and equipment Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed Qualifications Requirements Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Preferred Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Gentle and compassionate chairside manner Familiarity with dental software and digital charting Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care Knowledge of common dental procedures and patient education strategies We Offer Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and more!
