The Emergency Department at Windham Hospital is committed to delivering outstanding care for a range of conditions, from critical traumas to common illnesses. Our diverse team includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Advanced Providers, Nursing Assistants, and administrative staff. With 23 beds, including a fast-track area and behavioral health space, our ED is equipped to handle a variety of cases, including those related to behavioral health and opioid needs. The Assistant Nurse Manager (Clinical Resource Leader) plays a vital role as a clinical expert in emergency care and a leadership model for Registered Nurses and all supervised staff. This position focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients through the ED. Responsibilities include: Directing daily operations to optimize patient care. Assigning patient care activities to qualified staff. Supporting team members and fostering quality service excellence. Facilitating challenging situations in the ED. Monitoring and maintaining staff performance. Qualifications: Bachelors of Science in Nursing required (candidates currently completing their education may be considered). Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required. Charge or supervisory experience is necessary. Current certification in ACLS or completion within 3 months of employment; PALS required within 6 months; TNCC and ENPC encouraged.
