We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to support General Surgery operations, providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do:Assist in a variety of general surgical procedures, with a focus on plastic surgery, in both operative and outpatient settings. You will work closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, performing pre-operative assessments, assisting during surgeries, and managing post-operative care. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a flexible weekly split between operating room time and clinic duties. No weekends or call are required. The assignment is contingent upon completing necessary paperwork, with an expected start date beginning in February, depending on documentation readiness. Required Skills: Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice Proven experience in surgical or clinical settings, preferably in plastic surgery Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Responsiveness to documentation and administrative requirements Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in plastic or reconstructive surgery Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Bilingual skills in relevant languages Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, surgical experience preferred Prior orthopedics or specialized surgical experience is advantageous Other Requirements: Ability to work extended hours beyond 40 hours per week and qualify for overtime compensation Willingness to be highly responsive with paperwork and administrative tasks Ability to adapt to variable weekly schedules based on OR caseload Must pass credentialing and compliance checks Vaccinations and health clearances as per facility requirements This is an outstanding opportunity to apply your surgical expertise in a supportive environment that values professional growth and patient-centered care.
