Job Description: What you'll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO: Minimum qualifications: Be at least 21 years of age Valid Class A commercial driver's license Safe driving record and history Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or successfully complete a company-paid DOT physical Available to work a flexible schedule, up to 12-14 hours daily, including days, nights, and weekends Preferred qualifications: Forklift experience Currently possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements About the Truck Driver Job: Pay, benefits, and more: Home daily Expected pay range: $32.48 to $40.18 per hour, with actual compensation varying based on experience and skill set Full health insurance benefits available on day one Life and disability insurance Accrue up to 13 days of PTO in your first year 9 paid company holidays 401(k) plan with company match Education assistance available This position is exempt under the Motor Carrier Act What you'll do on a typical day: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads Load and unload freight as needed Truck Drivers are required to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally over 75 lbs.); maneuver a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs. Safely climb in and out of a tractor cab/trailer Maintain extended sitting periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; operate heavy equipment and a forklift safely Stand and walk for extended periods on uneven or slippery surfaces, including working outdoors in all weather conditions Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours in any weather while safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials Don't have your CDL-A yet?
