Position Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic & Safety Coordinator to support the daytoday operations of our Maintenance Department and assist in overseeing the Safety Program at Vyse. This role plays a vital part in ensuring equipment reliability, plant safety, and operational efficiency while partnering closely with production leadership. Qualifications Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred, or equivalent handson experience. 5+ years plant maintenance experience, including electrical & mechanical troubleshooting. 3+ years experience with motors, compressors, bearings, troubleshooting, or basic programming. Safety/EHS experience preferred. HVAC troubleshooting, basic plumbing, forklift/scissor lift operation a plus. Strong communication, organization, and crossdepartment collaboration skills. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and crawl as needed. Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly. Why Join Nitta Gelatin?
