Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Annual Salary: $140k-$190k (Varies depending on years of experience) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our client s growing outpatient cardiology practice in the Queens/Long Island area. The ideal candidate will have experience in stress testing and electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation and demonstrate a passion for providing high-quality cardiac care. Spanish-speaking fluency is highly preferred due to their diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: Perform and interpret stress tests and EKGs in an outpatient setting Conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments, patient histories, and physical exams Manage and follow up on chronic cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, arrhythmias, and heart failure Collaborate closely with cardiologists and support staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and medication management Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Qualifications: Current NP or PA license in the State of New York Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Experience in cardiology required, including proficiency in stress testing and EKG interpretation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in Spanish highly preferred EMR proficiency (e.g., EPIC, eClinicalWorks, etc.) is a plus Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
