Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Day shift: 4x10-hour (07:00 AM – 05:00 PM). The area offers outdoor activities, hiking trails, and over 20 waterways. Chesapeake will not consider ANY license or background hits. Please ensure your traveler does not have any prior license or background hits. Shift: 4x10 hours. Shifts may vary between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM as needed. Worked hours may extend beyond scheduled time. 40 hours per week. Weekdays only. No weekends. No on-call requirements. Certifications required: BLS and ACLS via American Heart Association. Must be EPIC proficient – NO EXCEPTIONS. Candidate should have pre- and post-recovery experience with minimally invasive cardiac procedures. Procedures include coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, EP device implants, and related medications/drips. RN must have critical care exposure with cardiac patients. Minimum 2 years nursing experience required. Experience required in one of the following areas: Critical Care Emergency Services Cardiac Cath Lab Pre-Post Care Unit Cardiac Rehab (preferred) Compact or Virginia (VA) license in hand – no exceptions.
