Duties include in-service staff training, maintaining detailed medical records, coding encounter forms, and participating in audits. The role involves supervising mid-level providers, attending meetings, and ensuring compliance with care standards and protocols. In clinical functions, the practitioner provides quality care within state or federal law, meeting productivity standards, and participating in after-hours calls. They contribute to preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health while supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home program for comprehensive, culturally sensitive care.
