Payroll Specialist Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Downtown) Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM A well-established manufacturing company in the Grand Rapids area is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The company supports a stable workforce and values accuracy, reliability, and strong internal support functions. This role is fully on site. Responsibilities Process full-cycle weekly payroll (hourly, union, and salaried; all Michigan-based). Maintain payroll records and make system updates including wage and benefit changes. Ensure accurate calculation of overtime, double-time, shift differentials, production bonuses, and attendance incentives. Review payroll outputs and verify tax withholdings and 401(k) contributions are processed correctly through UKG. Reconcile payroll accounts and research and resolve discrepancies. Upload timekeeping records from a separate system via CSV file into UKG for payroll processing. Partner with HR and accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
