About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and leadership-oriented Clinical Supervisor to join our team to lead the growth and clinical excellence of our therapeutic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of clinicians. You will be the cornerstone of our clinical culture, responsible for building a collaborative virtual environment where both associate-level and independently licensed therapists thrive. You will be responsible for overseeing the clinical work of non-licensed or associate-level therapists (e.g., LCSWs, LMHC-associates), ensuring high-quality patient care, ethical compliance, and professional growth within our staff. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be empowered to mentor a diverse team of therapists and ensure the "Dare Standard" of care is upheld across all remote service delivery. This position starts part-time and grows into a full-time role. Key Responsibilities Clinical Supervision & Consultation: Provide weekly individual and group supervision to non-independent clinicians (LCSW/LMHC-associates), focusing on case conceptualization, treatment planning, and therapeutic technique. Lead advanced consultation groups for independently licensed staff. Recruitment & Vetting: Lead the clinical interview process for incoming therapists to ensure they meet the practice’s standards for ethics and evidence-based care. Practice Development: Establish and refine clinical workflows, documentation standards, and specialized treatment protocols. Documentation Review: Audit and sign off on clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring they meet MA state board standards and insurance requirements. Crisis Consultation: Act as the primary point of contact for supervisees regarding high-risk clinical situations and ethical dilemmas. Professional Development: Mentor clinicians in mastering evidence-based practices (ACT, CBT, EMDR, etc.) and building their professional identity. Compliance: Ensure all supervisees adhere to the NASW or LMHC Code of Ethics and Massachusetts state regulations regarding "supervision for licensure." Direct Care: Maintain a reduced caseload of clients (as determined by billable hour requirements). Team Leadership: Facilitate clinical consultation groups and participate in leadership meetings to improve practice workflows. Qualifications Education: Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Licensure: Must hold a current, valid LICSW in Massachusetts for at least 3+ years post-independent licensure . Supervision Certification: Must meet MA Board requirements to provide supervision (e.g., completion of the required 12-15 hours of supervision training for LICSWs). Clinical Expertise: 5+ years of total experience in clinical settings, with deep proficiency in at least one core method: ACT, CBT, EFT, EMDR, Gottman, or IFS. Experience with trauma-informed care is strongly preferred. Ethical Rigor: Strong understanding of MA state laws regarding mandated reporting, Tarasoff warnings, and associate-level scope of practice. Strong ethical and professional boundaries. Commitment: Able to commit to at least 3 years with Dare Therapy to ensure continuity for supervisees. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in EHR systems and telehealth platforms. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills. Comfortable with remote work and telehealth modalities.
