Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Burlington, VT 05401 (Burlington, Vermont travel nursing / New England) Assignment Type: Travel RN assignment Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) – Large academic teaching hospital (500 beds) Start Date: March 23, 2026 End Date: September 21, 2026 Duration: 26 weeks (typical range 16–32 weeks) Hours: 40 hours/week Shift: 10-hour rotating shifts (days/evenings), typically four 10-hour days (06:45–17:15) with one/two 12-hour weekday calls (19:00–07:15) and one full weekend of call every 5 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,000–$3,160/week On-site: This is an on-site CVOR travel RN position CVOR RN Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or state-specific per assignment) BLS required; CNOR certification preferred Minimum 2 years recent OR RN experience with strong competency in cardiovascular / open-heart procedures Experience performing both scrub and circulate roles in cardiac surgery Prior travel nursing experience required (travel RN / travel nurse jobs) Experience working in a large (500 beds), academic, teaching hospital required Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) — Epic proficiency required for documentation General OR experience required; must be willing to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.) Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible).
