Facility in Peoria, IL seeking Inpatient Oncology locums coverage Rates: $560/hr Position: Locum Tenens Medical Oncologist Start Date: July 1, 2025 Schedule: Monday Friday, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM Shifts per Month: Approximately 15 Setting: Hospital-based Support: APP on-site; PRN Medical Oncologist available one week per month EMR: EPIC Privileges: Full or Temporary available Estimated Credentialing Time: 60 days Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up managementConduct hospital rounds as neededCollaborate with in-practice APP for consults, orders, and patient care planning Coordinate with the broader cancer care team for continuity of treatmentCover when the PRN Medical Oncologist is off-site Requirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical OncologyActive Illinois medical license OR IMLCDEA with Schedule II authorityACLS certifiedMinimum 1 year of experience Additional Notes:No weekend shiftsNo on-call requirementsNo solo coverage About WhiteCoat Locums: - Physician owned and led agency - Highest-Pay rates on the market - $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail - 100% transparency
