Veterinary Technician Emergency Veterinary Services of Lisle Location: Lisle, IL Shifts: Friday Evening + Alternating Saturday/Sunday Day Shifts (12-hour shifts) Compensation: $21.00 $27.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Join a supportive emergency team that makes a difference. Position details Friday evening shift Alternating Saturday and Sunday day shifts (12 hours) No overnight shifts Weekend availability is required What you'll do Monitor and provide treatments for hospitalized patients Perform in-house laboratory testing Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia during procedures Place IV catheters and perform blood draws Take and position radiographs Safely restrain patients for procedures and exams Provide client communication and education Communicate with referring veterinarians as needed Assist with occasional reception duties Maintain hospital cleanliness and organization Support the team with additional duties as assigned What we're looking for At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience required CVT or credentialed technician preferred but not required Strong technical and communication skills Compassion for both patients and clients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency setting Dependable with strong teamwork skills Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays Perks & benefits Competitive compensation + monthly bonus opportunities Health, dental, vision, and 24/7 mental health support Generous PTO, paid parental leave, and holiday pay Annual scrub allowance Free RACE-approved CE platform 401K with employer match Team incentive programs Personal pet care discounts
