(some flexibility on hours - to be discussed)Position Reports to: Director of FinanceJob Status: Non-Exempt/HourlyCompensation: up to $27.261/hourPrimary responsibilities include: Processing accounts payable to include the following: coding/matching packing list and entering invoices, processing all check, ACH payment, DSS refunds and returns. Assisting with month-end, year-end closing process and year-end audits. Processing new driver requests in WEX account. Assisting with preparation of a bi-weekly payroll when needed (as back-up). Responsible for monthly review, reconciliation, and maintenance of specific general ledger. Making daily remote deposits. Recording bank deposits in Fund EZ (as back-up). Communicating with the Director of Finance on an ongoing basis to include any issues that may arise. Reviewing current systems for efficiency and developing systems for those areas of need in conjunction with the Director of Finance. Maintaining knowledge of Fund EZ accounting package and ADP payroll software. Maintaining documentation and files in accordance with fiscal standards. Assisting with answering telephone and doorbell. Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Other duties as assigned. RequirementsEducation: Minimum of Associate’s Degree in accounting is preferred.Experience: Minimum two years' experience in the accounting field is preferred. Must excel with attention to detail. Non-profit and FUND EZ/ADP experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written skills.
