Trainer/Instructor If you love high profile and challenging programming projects supporting the US Navy - Serco has a great opportunity for you! This AEGIS Training Analyst will be on a dynamic team, reviewing, developing, and providing support for Combat Systems-related curricula and systems at SCSTC in San Diego, CA. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors. Serco supports the US Navy and SCSTC Dahlgren developing and delivering training for US Navy combat systems. Our team maintains and manages the training programs ensuring the safety of the Sailors and to allowing them to perform their missions successfully. You will be part of a team working closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. Rick Shute leads this team with over 35 years' experience and is a Navy veteran. In this role, you will: Be involved with developing technical courses to meet training needs and delivering training to end-users Analyze recommended changes and determine impact on system readiness and user functionality Conducts training needs assessment, review and evaluation of Personnel Qualification Standards, training programs recommending changes to curriculum, course content and Rate Training Manuals (RTMs) as appropriate Maintain up-to-date technical resource library To be successful in the role, you must have: An Active Secret security clearance. High School Diploma. 2+ years of U.S. Navy experience with recent operational experience in a US Navy Surface Combat Systems and recent operational experience onboard a U.S. Navy Surface Force ship class. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. Ability to travel 10% In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $62,027.42 - $93,056.69; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
