HRIS Specialist (Contract - Potential to Convert) Location: Windsor, CT Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Model: Onsite for the first 4 weeks, then hybrid Duration: Approx. 6 months (with potential for permanent hire) Pay Rate: $45-55/hour, dependent on experience Overview We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Windsor, CT. This role will play a key part in supporting and optimizing HR systems, with a strong focus on ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and ADP TotalSource. The ideal candidate is handson, detailoriented, and comfortable partnering with HR, Payroll, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data, system integrity, and smooth HR operations. This is a great opportunity for an HRIS professional looking for a contract role with strong potential to convert to permanent. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HRIS support for ADP Workforce Now and ADP TotalSource Maintain and audit employee data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance Support onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employee lifecycle transactions Partner with HR and Payroll teams on system updates, reporting, and troubleshooting Generate and maintain standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards Assist with HRIS testing, upgrades, and process improvements Support data integrity, documentation, and HR system best practices Act as a point of contact for HRIS-related questions and issue resolution Required Qualifications Proven, handson experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) Proven, handson experience with ADP TotalSource Prior experience in an HRIS Specialist, HR Systems, or HR Operations role Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting hybrid or evolving work environments Exposure to HR reporting, audits, or system implementations Contract-to-perm interest strongly preferred Why This Role?
