Applicants must have knowledge of sterile products, pharmacy compounding, institutional pharmacy, pharmacy law and ethics, pharmacy records and inventory management, and an extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations. The position may include day and/or night instruction. Rank and salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities • Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education. • Foster an educational environment that is supportive of the Lasallian Mission -Maintain an approved syllabus and daily lesson plan outlining course content and learning objectives -Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate the learning styles of a diverse student body -Administer and grade quizzes, tests, and exams -Actively work to maintain a high level of student enrollment by maintain accurate daily attendance and communicating attendance and other student concerns with the Director of Pharmacy Technician program Minimum Qualifications A minimum of an associate degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. A minimum of five years proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Possess industry certification. Previous teaching or training experience desired Applicant should be proficient with computer technology and possess strong organization skills.
