RN/ PACU Parkview TowerWill work primarily rotating between PACU and in pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unitShift: 4x10 hours shifts. M-F rotating 0800-1000 start. 24 hours of call per 6 week schedule period Ratios: 1:2 Years of experience REQ: 1 First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes Weekend REQ: None Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry Is on-call REQ? Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias requiredPACU, Critical care experience required, Epic required No call, nights or weekends required but may be available as staffing changes - Patient Diagnoses: Parkview Tower, Level 1 trauma center, Surgical patients we recover include: GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, some ENT, Separate IR Pre/Post area - Special Procedures/Unit Details: Our PACU RNs need proficiency in managing complicated postoperative patients including: multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia. We are looking for a nurse with at least one year of critical care experience or from a Level I Trauma Center. Even RNs receiving patients in preop may be managing multiple complex patients. - We are a Level I Trauma PACU. Our PACU RNs need proficiency in managing complicated postoperative patients including: multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia. We are looking for a nurse with at least one year of critical care experience or from a Level I Trauma Center. Even RNs receiving patients in preop may be managing multiple complex patients. Wear scrubs. • If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). • If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month.
