Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for contract assignments in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. This role is ideal for ER nurses with strong clinical judgment who thrive in high-acuity, high-volume environments. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute illness, trauma, and medical emergencies Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patient needs Initiate emergency interventions and administer medications per protocol Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitation efforts Collaborate with interdisciplinary emergency department teams Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety and quality standards Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience Ability to function effectively in high-acuity and emergency situations Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Required Certifications BLS (AHA required) ACLS required CEN preferred Contract Details Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (days or nights, based on availability) Employment Type: Contract (not a permanent full-time role) Travel nurses welcome - travel packages available for qualified candidates
