Bilingual Construction Bookkeeper/Payroll

Job Description Payroll Specialist/AR/AP GPAC is currently assisting a growing and stable client with their search for a Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist. This is a Commercial Roofing company that has been in business for over 15 years and has just had their long-time bookkeeper put in her two week notice. This individual will be responsible for accounting operations and more within the company. Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist Responsibilities: Planning, directing, and coordinating accounting operational functions Annual budgeting and forecasting Month end closing responsibilities Preparation of financial statements Work with auditors Work closely with leadership team Ensure compliance Process Payroll Handle AR/AP Functions Bookkeeper/Accountant Background Requirements: B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred but not required Previous AR/AP Experience QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish Paychex software experience Preferred Minimum of twoyears of Payroll/AR/AP experience Experience working in the Construction industry is preferred Strong financial management and business acumen Please submit a resume for consideration.
