Registered Nurse IR - Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Interventional Radiology to work on a contract basis in Jamaica Plain, MA. This role is ideal for experienced procedural nurses skilled in pain management or interventional radiology procedures, particularly those comfortable operating in a fluoroscopy environment with lead protective gear. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care during interventional radiology procedures. Assist physicians in pain management and IR treatments. Ensure patient safety and comfort while managing equipment in a fluoroscopy room. Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes. Maintain sterile environments and adhere to all regulatory protocols. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid RN licensure with experience in interventional radiology or pain management nursing. Proficiency working safely in fluoroscopy rooms, including wearing lead aprons. Strong procedural nursing skills and familiarity with IR equipment. Ability to work variable hours Monday through Friday, ensuring flexibility. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Schedule: 4-day workweek, Monday through Friday. Hours vary, typically from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
