Night Custodian

Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian Date Posted: 3/13/2026 Location: Stony Creek Elementary Date Available: ASAP District: Alsip, Hazelgreen & Oak Lawn School District 126 Clean and maintain inside and outside of all buildings in the district. Perform minor mechanical jobs as directed. Clean and monitor boiler room/storage rooms, etc. Unload trucks with supplies/equipment - some heavy lifting required. Knowledge of school emergency/safety procedures required. Perform other jobs and duties as directed by the building principal such as set up for assemblies, move supplies within the school, remove trash from exterior grounds, eliminate health safety hazards, broken glass, ice, snow, etc. Work with the Chief of Maintenance/Assistant Chief of Maintenance, principals and staff to actively create and maintain a safe work and learning environment for students, staff, and the public in all district schools and on all district grounds. Hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
