Position DetailsAdvertising/Posting Title Post Doctoral AssociatePosting SummaryThe Preston lab in the Department of Plant Biology at the University of Vermont is hiring a postdoctoral scholar to work on a National Science Foundation-funded project investigating convergent origins of chilling tolerance in C4 grasses. The position will primarily involve generation of plant phenotypic and transcriptomic data, bioinformatic and statistical analysis of data in a phylogenetic framework, mentoring of junior researchers, and manuscript preparation. The candidate will be responsible for supporting general laboratory oversight, including but not limited to ordering, equipment maintenance, and lab safety.
