Sr Manager Logistics

Job DescriptionDevelop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse and distribution operations. Lead and manage a team of warehouse and distribution employees. Monitor inventory accuracy with a goal of 99.9% accurate inventory levels. Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements as necessary. Continuously access and improve key performance indicators related to warehouse and distribution processes. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure on time delivery of goods. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on warehouse and distribution performance. Implement team practices to streamline processes. Work closely with customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction through timely deliveries. Education / Qualifications7+ years managing Warehouse operations including all inventory management locations, traffic management, contract negotiations, etc. BS Degree in Business, Management, Operations, Logistics, etc. Minimum of 5+ years managing direct and indirect staff Manage customer relations as required Work with internal organizations such as : Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Finance, IT, etc. Working with the compliance team manage compliance related responsibilities Key part of ISO compliance and auditing process Process controls and associated metrics Experience in SAP or comparable ERP system implementation a plus Compensation Data Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000 Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.
