Job Full Description Pallet SorterLocation: Woodburn, OR Pay: $19.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary (Approx. 90 Days) Start Date: March 12, 2026 Schedule Options Option 1: Wednesday-Sunday | 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Option 2: Tuesday-Saturday | 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Position Overview Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Pallet Sorter for a warehouse facility in Woodburn, OR. This position involves sorting pallets, removing debris, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while meeting production goals. Candidates with forklift or electric pallet jack experience are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Sort pallets by grade and stack to proper heights Remove trash, plastic, and debris from pallets before returning them to customers Remove plastic from bins and place it into a baler Secure full bales with wire and remove them from the baler when complete Load and unload materials from trailers manually Move pallets or materials around the yard or storage facility Inspect pallets and materials to ensure they meet quality standards Verify loads are safe and secure Complete production paperwork accurately Communicate with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications Forklift or electric pallet jack experience preferred Basic math, reading, and communication skills Basic computer skills Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Willingness to work overtime if required Physical & Work Environment Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly Frequent bending, stooping, walking, and standing for full shifts Work may be performed in varying temperatures and conditions PPE required including safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection where applicable Good balance and hand-eye coordination required Salem, OR 1950 454 Church St NE Suite 120 Salem, OR 97301
