Seasonal Field Marketing Specialist

Kohler Distributing Company is the #1 Beer and other Alcoholic beverage wholesale distributor in Northern NJ. We are 300 team members strong, working in a 250,000 square foot office and warehousing facility. We stride ourselves in providing the best support and service to our nearly 3000 retail customers. We are currently looking for a Seasonal Field Marketing Specialist/ Brand Ambassador to join our Team. This position reports to our Brand Manager and ensures the company provides the best support to our customers and team members. Individuals applying should be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Could be a great opportunity for college students studying Sales or Marketing. Job Description: Decorate accounts with Points of Purchase advertising. Coordinate and conduct On-premise promotional/sampling events. Conduct price surveys and marketing research.. Packing out product in Stores and Supermarkets. Building and maintaining displays. Daily reporting to our Brand Manager. Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills. Must have a creative and outgoing personality. Must be energetic, hardworking self-started, able to work without constant direction. Must be 21 years of age or older. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Must travel through Bergen, Passaic, Morris, and Sussex Counties. Some sales experience is a plus. (Sales/Marketing Concentration is acceptable). Light to moderate lifting required. Some MS Office experience required. Skills to be developed: Individual will be exposed to day to day brand, customer, and retailer relationships. Will enhance skillset in practical marketing strategies. - This is an hourly position starting at $20.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. - Time commitment: May through August, approximately 28 hour per week. - Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekend availability). - Weekend and some nights mandatory.
