Miami Valley Hospital North in Englewood, OH is looking for a Occupational therapist that specializes in hands The Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning. The therapist participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The therapist is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department. Qualifications Education Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree Additional requirements: Type of degree: Bachelor of Science or equivalent Area of study or major: Occupational Therapy Preferred educational qualifications: N/A Position specific testing requirement: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration Current Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio. Current Hand Therapist certification. Current CPR certification required at the time of hire. Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience Prior job title or occupational experience: N/A Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience.
